Bio

Hello, I’m Nicki

I am a functional nutrition coach with a passion for empowering women. After a traumatic childhood injury, where I almost lost my vision, I met one of the most influential people in my life. The nurse who cared for me in the emergency department showed such compassion. She made this fearful six- year old feel like it was going to be okay and that I was not alone. I wanted to be like her and help others know they were not alone either. I never forgot her kindness, and it changed my life trajectory. Since then I became a nurse and mother of two daughters whom I strive to be role model to and inspire.

I have been working for the past 25 years practicing as a nurse and the last 16 years as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner but I wanted to give more. Our healthcare system has limitations that lack focus on preventative care. With my own health challenges, I found trying to find the quick fix did not work, but lifestyle and nutrition changes made the difference for a healthier life. I believe in a mind and body approach, identifying the root cause of imbalances to help move forward on a healing path.
